Hello…
I am Sheila a transformational life coach, based in Edinburgh, who specialises in confidence and career coaching. I am on a mission to help people from diverse backgrounds flourish in work. I help people who feel that the fear of judgement or failure is holding them back, I help those people feel energised and motivated to move towards their goals with less restriction.
I’m a nature loving adventurer who can more often than not be found exploring outside. Professionally my background is in graphic design, and marketing which I fell into a little by accident. After working as a designer for nine years I wanted a more holistic view of business in order to better serve my clients and the businesses I worked for. So, I took a job as a marketing manager learning lots along the way. In these jobs I discovered that the parts I really enjoyed were connecting with people, the energy that comes from collaboration, and the enthusiasm that comes as a result of people feeling like they are engaged in making something happen. My previous work experience also allowed me to understand the dynamics of workplaces, how people worked together, where people felt frustrated, why people didn’t speak up when they had something to contribute (me included) - all of which I found fascinating. I decided that on reflection this is where I wanted to focus my work energy. To help individuals be more self-aware, empower people to speak up and make the impact they want in organisations or their own businesses, I wanted teams to be collaborative and energised and businesses to feel the benefits of the amazing resource that is their people. So, after gaining my accreditation qualification in transformational coaching with Animas, I took the leap into the world of transformational coaching.
We have everything we need within us to change our world.
“Patient, practical, insightful, calm. Sheila is easy to chat to and puts you at ease immediately. She had a great ability to pick up salient points from my meandering waffle that we could look at in more detail.”

“I would say Sheila's strengths are the ability to make you feel completely at ease, asking the right exploratory questions and being able to keep track of what I am saying through-out the session.”
